Which Classic Books?

Posted on 07/10/2007 13:58:55 | Link | Post Comment
Following on from that last post, I thought I'd make a list of the classic trading books I have read and invite readers to suggest others if they are not on my list. These are the ones I have read - if you have not read any of these I suggest you spend your money on them before ANY ebook under the sun. I have about 200 trading ebooks in my collection and not a single one of them even comes close to the following books for value or quality of information:

Market Wizards & New Market Wizards - Jack Schwager
Trading for a Living - Alexander Elder
The New Science of Technical Analysis - Tom DeMark
Anything by Daryl Guppy
Way of the Turtle - Curtis M Faith
Trade your way to Financial Freedom - Van K Tharp
The Secret of Economic Indicators - Bernard Baumohl

I consider the above to be classics. I've read lots of other books but I'd say they were more mediocre than these ones. Another great one is Rogue Trader by Nick Leeson. You learn a lot about trading psychology from that book.
