Universal Forces

Work managed to sabotage my trading holiday and force me to push it back a week.

Call me superstitious but I always see such things as a warped positive sign - i.e. any breakthrough in understanding always seems to be preceded by a roadblock or obstacle of some kind. When ever I plan to do something and the universe reveals its hand in a non-subtle way in an attempt to block me I always think "AHAH! There must be something gold in this...!"

Lets deviate for a moment and talk about Universal Forces. It should be quite obvious that attempting to do anything (in this case, successful trading) is met with a massive amount of resistance, both internal and external, and so the overall feeling is of attempting to swim against the current, agreed? And lets not be new age about it, the forces against your success in trading are numerous.

I find that in such cases as this whats required is a dogged determination and ability to get through obstacles, either by force, new thinking on the subject or by avoidance, like those films of salmon trying to jump up waterfalls to get upstream. If you could plot ones progress as a line against this downward current then it would show that progress is not linear but a messy process, thus: The most important element though is to not give up.
