Trading Demo

I notice that a lot of the trading blogs I used to read have been dying down a little, and mine too. However I'll attempt to keep active and not lose the thread. Anyhow something I have done is switch back over to using my demo account - the reasoning behind it is this: I've been trading a live account for a while now, and even switched to a micro account which was smart. You should not been trading standard 10K lots with equity less than 25K in your account, this is standard common sense.
Yet even so I'm still NERVOUS about it. I have made a small amount last month and this month started well also, but something just ain't right. I do not like my own level of confidence, it is not based on any real solid ground of experience. I feel like a junior pilot up for his first solo. Instead I want some confidence about what I'm doing, and I currently do not have it.
So I'm going to give my nerves a break and spend some time on my demo account trying to see what exactly I think the problem is. One trader I know struggled along like this for almost a decade before he became successful... This is not a 6 month or 2 year project.
