Tyro Trader seems to have killed his blog, and Chaffcome hasn't done a monthly report since Feb - unusual for him as he's a professional hedge fund basically. I've moved upticks world up because its now pretty much my favourite fundamental news blog.
Forex Bastards changed their name to Forex Peace Army but I just don't like the new site as much - it seems harder to navigate around and find good info. I have noticed a slow decline in the enthusiasm for forex blogging all round. I guess that the reason is when you first get into this you are all enthusiastic, optimistic and pumped up - but inevitably you get your "education" and these things get smashed out of you leaving you in the position of cataloging the daily grind of trading.
I currently oscilate in and out of such frames of mind and I'm finding its best to only write when I have something to say. That said though, it does raise the point of having to keep yourself uplifted and into it.
My antidote to this issue is to read the great works of trading litrature. Keep reading market wizards and the rest - find the noble thread in it that trading DOES have and try to stick to that line. Take an active interest in the subjects that actively connect into the subject of trading such as history, economics and politics.
