That time of the month already? Ok well... I feel as though I took a step back this month and did more watching of the market than actually trading it, although I did take one carefully chosen shot on the euro from 1.54 up to 1.58. I think because I am beginning to get a hint of a deeper understanding of it and I guess my interest in trading based on fundamentals is increasing. The style I'm slowly developing is that at certain moments fundamental and technical events line up and then in my gut knows to buy or sell. I continue to experiment with system trading to see how it suits me but I'm starting to accept the fact that it doesn't.
I much prefer it when I have a strong conviction to enter the market, and I can focus on that position for its lifespan and be with it. It is not just one meaningless trade amongst thousands. I have a reason to enter. I seem to have a lot more success when I do this and I also enjoy it more.
This month I've been consolidating together the things that are my basic methods and ideas. It was a quiet month, but a good month. I still feel like there is so much I do not know.
