Foreign Exchange On Cnbc World

I thought it might be useful to highlight a television show that I try to catch each morning on CNBC World. The show is cunningly titled Foreign Exchange and can be used to get a recap on how the currency markets have been performing over the past 24 hours. Each day there is also a guest commentator, normally from one of the big banks or forex brokers. Regular guests include Kathy Lien, Boris Schlossberg, Marc Chandler and others.

The show is normally on at 8:30am EST; unfortunately it is not on consistently each day from Monday to Friday. I have yet to figure out exactly what days it is or isn't on, so I normally just have to check each and every day.

The other problem with the show being on at 8:30am EST is that this is when the majority of US economic data releases come over the wire. I normally watch regular CNBC or Bloomberg when these economic data releases come out as they are not immediately covered on the Foreign Exchange show (which is a bit surprising).

If you miss a show or just don't have CNBC World you can view past episodes on their website.
